About
Strand Beach is a popular three-kilometre stretch of sandy shore that has a tidal pool for safe swimming. It also has a kiosk and a boat launching site. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for hire and local beach vendors sell items such as cooldrinks, pre-packed food and ice cream. Parking is available for 1 000 vehicles and there is a fun park nearby that offers putt-putt (mini-golf) and a water slide.
